The Beach

This makes me think of relaxing summer days at the seaside.  I can't wait for it to get warmer so we can make the most of the beaches in Copenhagen.  These shells were collected during a previous holiday.

Spring

Spring is turning into summer and butterflies and dragonflies are making their graceful and colourful appearance.  We've seen some beautiful ones while out canoeing on the rivers here.

 

Hearts

Hearts and hand-stitching make me think of comfort, cosiness or hygge as they say in Denmark.  Here are some variations on the hand-stitched heart theme.

My heart is yours

I think a hand-stitched, homemade creation like this one will show the recipient (in this case my husband!) how much they mean to you.  I love the combination of colours - it works for males or females - and the card is perfect for a wedding anniversary or a spontaneous "I love you".
